WOU end tour with a perfect 4-0 record
Game 1 shot
The Wolves, playing their final game in Argentina, overcame a lack luster first half performance to man handle Club Estados Unidos 80-36. After leading only 37-28 at the end of the first half, the Wolves exploded for 43 second half points while holding their hosts to only nine.

Once again, Katie Torland led the way scoring 19 points and hauling down six rebounds. Also scoring in double figures were Sara Zahler with 14 points and Colby Patton with 12 points. As she has all tour long, Kristen Hein controlled the boards ripping down 13 rebounds while tossing in eight points and handing out three assists. AJ Hawk had another strong all-around performance scoring seven points, grabbing nine rebounds, and passing off for a team leading five assists. Lindsey Shearer added nine points to go along with her eight rebounds while Danielle Bellando scored eight points and garnered eight boards. In addition to Zahler's double figure scoring, she had five rebounds and four assists.

In addition to winning their fourth straight game on Tuesday night, the Wolves had another basketball highlight - be sure to read Katie Torland's last entry in her blog to find out what it was.

Tomorrow the road weary but very satisfied tourists begin the long trek back to Oregon. They leave Argentina at 4:30pm PDT on Wednesday, June 24th and if everything goes right hope to be in their own beds by 1:00am on Friday, June 26th. If anybody wants to fly to LAX on Thursday and help Coach Bruce make the 12+ drive to Oregon, I'm sure he wouldn't mind! Be sure to check back in a few days to read Coach Bruce's summary of the trip.
