Softball hosts alumni game
WOU holds alumni softball event as part of football weekend
MONMOUTH, Ore. - The Western Oregon University softball team will host an alumni game Saturday, Oct. 3rd at 10:00 a.m.

The alumni game will be played at the WOU Softball Field and will be followed by a tailgater at noon as the Wolves prepare to host Southern Oregon in the annual Little Civil War football game at 2:00 p.m.

In the softball game, the alumni, coached by Jami Strinz, will take on the current WOU softball team. There is no charge for the event but it is open to only active and alumni WOU softball players.

Tyler  Sutherland
Softball
Tyler Sutherland went 6-for-13 with two doubles, two home runs, four RBI and five runs to help Western Oregon take three of four games from Montana State Billings.
Cesar Lopez
Baseball
Lopez had seven hits, including a double and two home runs, to lead the eight-time defending conference champion Wolves to three wins in four games in their conference opening series at NNU.

2007-08 All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference sports trophy.

Men's and women's track and field teams win 2008 GNAC outdoor championships.

Baseball wins ninth consecutive conference championship.

Volleyball wins first GNAC championship (2008).

Men's track and field team wins second consecutive GNAC indoor championship (2009).
