MONMOUTH, Ore. - Matson Hardie was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-28.

Hardie, a freshman from Bend, Ore. (Summit High School), won both the triple jump and long jump in the Seattle Pacific Last Chance Invitational with jumps of 47-11.75 and 22-6, respectively. He added 7.5 inches to his previous provisional national qualifying mark in the triple jump recording the second longest leap in GNAC history.
