She has led her team in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocked shots each of her last two seasons. Beckley averaged 9.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.0 blocks per contest during her senior campaign while putting up a school-record 13 double-double's. In addition, Kenzie has averaged over 27 made three-pointers and 88 free throw attempts during her last three seasons. She served as team captain both her junior and senior years.

“Mackenzie is an extremely versatile player,” Bruce said. “She has the ability to knock down a three, drive past a defender for a lay-up, or pull down a big rebound in a crowd. She is a solid athlete who runs the floor very well. Kenzie possesses a high basketball IQ and is really good at involving her teammates at the offensive end. Best of all, she will bring a team-oriented attitude and the skill set to contribute to our program in a number of areas as a freshman.”

“Mackenzie Beckley is one of the all-time outstanding basketball players at Aliso Niguel High,” Wolverine head coach Kurt Westling said. “She has the potential to be a very good college player. Her strengths are her athletic ability and her shooting skills. Her work ethic has been exemplary and people warm to her dynamic personality. Mackenzie is a quality person who seems to constantly put others ahead of herself.”

Along with her time on the court, Beckley was also a three-year member of Aliso Niguel's track team, throwing the shot and discus, as well as participating in lacrosse as a sophomore.

Mackenzie plans to major in elementary education. Her parents are Scott Beckley and Joele Watson and she is from a large family that includes five brothers and one sister.
