MONMOUTH, Ore. -
Rae Ann Haistings became the fourth member of the 2010 Western Oregon University volleyball recruiting class when she signed a national letter of intent, June 22.
Haistings joins the Wolves out of Seattle Prep. The 5-10 outside hitter from Redmond, Wash., lettered all four seasons at Seattle Prep and was an all-league honorable mention as a sophomore and senior.
"She is a very good volleyball player who can play multiple positions," said WOU head coach
Brad Saindon. "Haistings can play the left or right side and has big upside. We are very excited she is going to be part of our team.
"It is funny how things work out," Saindon continued. "We had a late need and we were really fortunate to get on her late and bring her to Western Oregon."
Haistings also plays club volleyball for Kent Juniors. She is the daughter of Stephan and Dreslaine Haistings and will be attending WOU to major in Health Sciences.
