Turf 2

The filtration system is in place and shortly the field turf will be laid on top of it, as the final phase of the Western Oregon University baseball field is nearly underway.

The crew from Pro Turf Solutions has been working for nearly two weeks to strip away the previous infield, brining in gravel and leveling the ground to prepare for the installation of the turf. The crew expects that it will begin to roll out the artificial substance and begin putting it in place on Sunday, July 4.

The project is expected to be completed by Sunday, July 11.
