SEATTLE -
Dan Sprinkle and the Western Oregon men's distance medley relay team both moved into third place in school history with strong performances at the UW Invitational on Friday, Jan. 27.
Sprinkle grabbed the third spot on the Wolves' all-time top 10 list in the 5,000m run with a time of 14:59.57.
The distance medley relay team of
Kyle Larson,
Chris Olsen,
Ryan Hansen and
Connor Kasler registered a time of 10:09.89 in their first race of the season to spring into third place in school history. Last season the Wolves' distance medley relay team claimed All-American honors with a sixth place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
The Wolves also got solid performances in the 200m dash from
Kendale Hamlett and
Josh Moore. Hamlett recorded a time of 22.57 to place seventh in this elite meet, while Moore took 12th place with a time of 22.80.
The UW Invitational will continue on Saturday, Jan. 28.
