The Western Oregon University track & field team completed one of the most memorable and remarkable indoor seasons in school history. Here is a look back at some of those top performances:
Ashley Potter earns All-American honors by placing second in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a mark of 40-8.25 (12.40m).
• Western Oregon men's track & field team wins its fifth straight GNAC Indoor Championship.
• The women's team places third, to record their best finish at the GNAC Indoors since 2007.
• Potter was named the GNAC Female Athlete of the Year.
• Wolves' male student-athletes win three events and placed in the top three in 13 different events at the GNAC Championships.

• Eight male student-athletes and nine women earned their way onto the GNAC all-time top 10 list.
• 19 members of the team earned USTFCCCA all-region honors.  To be eligible for an all-region honor a student-athlete must finish in the top five from each region in individual events or is a member of a relay ranked in the region's top three.
Ryan Hansen qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championships in the men's 800m with a provisional qualifying time of 1:51.55. That time places him second in both school and GNAC history.

• Western Oregon student-athletes claimed one NCAA automatic qualifying standard and nine provisional qualifying marks.
• Seven Wolves finished atop the 2012 GNAC Performance List.
• Potter claimed the top spot on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference all-time top 10 list with her leap at Nationals. Her mark of 40-8.25 was 8.75 inches better than the previous school record as she became the only GNAC female student-athlete to ever eclipse 40 feet.
Madison McClung claimed two different school records while at the GNAC Indoor Championships. She posted a time of 7.81 in the 60m dash and a time of 25.16 in the 200m. Her time in the 60m claimed her the fourth-best mark in conference history, and her time in the 200m moved her to second in GNAC history.
Janna Vander Meulen set the school record in the women's 60m hurdles by running a time of 9:06 at the GNAC Championships.
Katie Pelchar moved to the top of the school records when she cleared 5-7.25 (1.71) to win the high jump event.
