PORTLAND, Ore. – For her performance at the John Knight Twilight last weekend, Western Oregon track & field student-athlete Seabre Church has been named the Red Lion Hotels Great Northwest Athletic Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

Church earns the honor after she won the javelin throw at the John Knight Twilight with a NCAA automatic qualifying mark of 151-05. The mark ranks fifth in the nation this season and ranks No. 10 in conference history.

Church and the rest of the WOU javelin throwers will return to action on Thursday, April 18, when the Wolves travel to Walnut, Calif., for the Mount Sac Relays.
