UPDATED GNAC PERFORMANCE LIST

SEATTLE – The Western Oregon University men's distance medley relay team highlighted the WOU track and field finishes at the University of Washington Invitational Friday and Saturday.

The Wolves' foursome of Josh Hanna, Kody Rhodes, Ryan Hansen, and Brady Beagley landed on the Wolves' all-time list with their finish. Their time of 10:04.79 is fourth all-time at WOU. They placed fifth in the event Friday night. Hanna ran 1,200 meters at 3:04, Rhodes' 400-meter time was 50.1, Hansen's 800 meters was 1:54, and Beagley's mile time was 4:16.

Saturday, Emmi Collier had the top toss so far this season in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in women's shot put. The Warrenton, Ore. native, had a second throw of 41-11.5 (12.79), which placed her 14th in the event.

Jeff Howard's 60-meter preliminary time was just off the all-time top 10 list. The sophomore's time was 7.14 and placed him fourth in his heat.

Rhodes' 8.48 60-meter hurdle time placed him eighth in the event. He is fourth on the school's all-time list with a time of 8.40. Hanna came in fourth in the men's 800 meters with a time of 1:55.74.

In the women's high jump, Alexis Anderson's third attempt at 5-3 (1.60 meters) was her best leap. She is currently second in the GNAC with a 5-5.25 mark earlier this season.

Audrey Hellesto placed second in her heat and ninth overall in the women's 400 meters with a time of 59.83.

Freshman Kaelen Byrum had the fourth-best marks currently in the GNAC in the men's high jump and triple jump. He cleared the bar at 6-4.25 (1.94m) in the high jump, and had a top mark of 43-8.5 (13.32m) in the triple jump. Becca Laible improved her placement in the conference to fifth with a 33-3.75 (10.76m) in the women's triple jump.

"We didn't bring everybody to this meet, but it was a good one for us," WOU Head Coach Mike Johnson said. "We will be bringing everybody next week to Idaho. We'll have a good week to prepare and then be ready for Friday."

The Wolves are competing in the Vandal Indoor for the next meet Friday in Moscow, Idaho. Several Western Oregon track and field student-athletes will be making their debuts next weekend. The Vandal Open will follow on Saturday. Live results will be available on WOUWolves.com.
