PORTLAND, Ore. – For the second straight week, Western Oregon University track student-athlete,
Brady Beagley, was named the Red Lion Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's track Athlete of the Week.
Beagley received the honor Monday after placing fifth in the 5,000 meters at the Willamette Invitational in a provisional national qualifying time of 14:35.37 Saturday. That time currently ranks eighth in NCAA Div. II. It also is the third best in WOU school history. He also currently ranks fourth nationally in the 1,500 meters.
Western Oregon travels to the Bay Area this Saturday. The Wolves will split their squads between the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and the Stanford Invitational.
