PORTLAND, Ore. – Western Oregon University student-athlete, Tyrell Williams, was named the Red Lion Great Northwest Athletic Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week Monday.
 
Williams won his heat of the 100 meters and placed fourth overall in the UC San Diego Triton Invitational in a time of 10.78. On the season, Williams is the GNAC leader in the 200 (21.48) and has the third best time in the 100.
 
Emily Moe and Eric Gaines will participate in the GNAC Multi-Event Championships in Ellensburg, Wash., Monday and Tuesday. The Wolves will complete their regular season Friday at the Pacific Twilight in Forest Grove and the OSU High Performance meet in Corvallis.
