                     FINAL RESULTSPORTLAND, Ore. – The freshmen trio of 
Cody Warner, 
David Ribich, and 
Peter Zalk each took home individual titles at the Rose City Preview co-hosted by the University of Portland and Portland State University Saturday inside Earl Klapstein Stadium at Mt. Hood Community College.
Warner would double dip in the 100 and 200 meter races winning in times of 10.98 and 22.10 seconds, respectively, as he ran into a headwind to win both events. Meanwhile, Ribich took home the individual title in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 3:55.30 with Zalk taking home the title in his first-ever pole vault clearing 4.05 meters (13-3.50) to win by four inches over the next competitor.
In the men's 800 meter run, a pair of Wolves – junior 
Sam Naffziger and sophomore 
Josh Dempsey – both finished in the Top 10 with Dempsey setting a new personal best with a time of 1:55.26 en route to winning Heat #2.
On the women's side, junior 
Bailey Beeson and freshman 
Kylie Reinholdt would post second place finishes in the 800 meter run and triple jump, respectively.
Beeson clocked a time of 2:15.84 to finish behind NCAA Division I runner Alisa Poplawski from Seattle University, while Reinholdt was the highest collegiate finisher with a mark of 11.04 meters (36-2.75) finishing behind unattached competitor Chaquinn Cook en route to matching her collegiate personal record while jumping into a headwind.
Western Oregon returns next week with a busy three days, as the Wolves compete Thursday and Friday, March 26 and 27, at the Mt. Hood Multis in Gresham before concluding the week on Saturday, March 28, at the Willamette Invitational in Salem.
