AZUSA, Calif. – In a tough field against many top NCAA Division I and II program from across the nation, the Western Oregon track & field team posted one event win, five provisional qualifying marks, one NCAA automatic qualifier that rewrote a school record, and nine personal bests at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Friday at Cougar Stadium on the campus of Azusa Pacific.

Senior
Wesley Gray posted a Division II provisional mark in winning the men's triple jump with a lifetime personal best mark of 14.85m.

Junior
David Ribich posted the fastest time of any Division II runner finishing 17
th overall in the 1.500m with a time of 3:42.21, a personal best and an improvement of his own Western Oregon and Great Northwest Athletic Conference record in the event. Sophomore
Dustin Nading also ran his fastest lifetime time at 3:48.16, a provisional qualifier.

The Wolves did very well in the 800m at the event. All three female runners finished in the top-30 with NCAA provisional times. Sophomore
Olivia Woods posted the third fastest time among Division II runners at 2:09.09 while junior
Suzanne Van De Grift came in just behind at 2:09.47. Junior
Megan Rose crossed at 2:10.77. On the men's side, junior
AJ Holmberg ran a provisional time of 1:51.60 while senior
Michael Chin just missed the threshold (by .05 seconds) at 1:52.38, his season best.

In the sprints, freshman
Codi Blodgett posted two season bests in the 100m (10.90) and 200m (22.13). Senior
Aaron Whitaker ran the 400m in 48.54, the third fastest Division II time on Friday. Senior
Laura Patrick (25.80) and freshman
Grayson Burke (26.09) each had their fastest mark in the women's 200m.

In the field, senior Racheal Huffman was the second best Division II competitor in the shot put with a throw of 12.62m. Also in the shot put, freshman
Mariah Gronbach had a lifetime best hitting 11.00m.
