Wolves Lettermen's Society FAQ

FAQ:

Who can join?
All former OCE/WOSC/WOU student-athletes and cheer team members who were awarded at least one varsity letter are eligible to join the Wolves Lettermen Society. Current and former coaches, trainers and managers are also able to become members.

How long is my membership?
Memberships run on fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Hall of Fame Members who submit their forms are granted lifetime membership.

My sport is no longer offered at WOU can I still join?
Yes. If you competed in a NCAA or NAIA sanctioned sport during your time here, you are eligible for membership into the Wolves Lettermen Society. Your participation in your sport helped lay the groundwork for what is currently in place for student-athletes today.

Do club sports or recreation sports count.
Unfortunately, No.

Where do my dues go?
Proceeds from your membership go directly to support the 325 student-athletes and 13 varsity sports programs here at Western Oregon University.

How do my dues for Lettermen's Society count towards a membership in the Wolves Club?
Any former student-athlete who joins the Wolves Lettermen's Society, membership dues will count towards Wolves Club giving. Beginning in July 2015, Wolves Club membership will be based on aggregate annual giving to Wolves Athletics. Your annual support will be comprised of participation in the Wolves Club and athletic program support.

For example:

Joe Alumni's Giving:
Lettermen's Society Dues = $25
Wolves Club Donation = $25
Total Giving = $50 (Will make Joe Alumni a member of the Lettermen's Society, and receive benefits at the Varsity Level ($50) in the Wolves Club)
